Pass the Syrup.

So the other day The fontosaurus and I were talking about the horror that is syrup. He was telling me about a pancake that can absorb up to two gallons of the horrid goop.

The trista: Syrup is vile. It is an abomination. A crime against god and nature.

The fontosaurus: Syrup is wonderful! A pancake is merely the vessel for the syrup.

Butter! Perhaps jam, or perhaps a squidge of lemon juice and a little sprinkle of sugar. Mostly, though, just butter. The way pancakes were meant to be eaten.
