I have no patience for jigsaw and crosswords, but I've been hooked on websudoku.com this week, and I love logic puzzles. I also used to have a book with a sort of sudoku/crossword hybrid. There weren't clues; you just had to figure out how to fill in the words.

Places Please is the huge empty grid with numbers in them.  Each number has a list of varying-length words that start with the same letter.  Letterboxes is like that, except there are black blocks (like in crosswords) to fit around.

Now I want one.

Love, love, love websudoku.com! Oh god.

The word puzzle thingies that you're talking about? Are they the ones where you have a blank crossword grid sort of thing and then a list of words, with the words arranged by number of letters, and you have to plug those words into the grid? I cannot tell you how much I love those things.
