Make Poverty History
Ok everyone, if you would just lend me your ears and your time just for a wee while.
Back in 2001 the governments of the 8 most wealthy countries in the world said they were going to do something about world poverty. Well four years on they havent really done very much.
But this year a difference can be made.
Two summits to discuss world debt and the problem with world poverty are being held, in which our government can make a difference.
Yeh, you're right there isnt a huge difference we as individuals can make. But by wearing the WHITE BAND you can show that you want to make a difference to the crisis that is going on in our world.

This organisation is also helping out the Tsunami victims in Asia.
