i am employable!
trip to fredtown this past weekend. it was cool. didn't spend nearly enough of it drunk. friday night i participated in my first power hour. good times. rich's entrance into his own house was hilarious.
saturday was fredfest. bought $40 worth of stuff from the jewelry vendor there. and awesome blue/black stone necklace and some celtic knot earrings. it took me 20 minutes to decide on the stone. she had so many gorgeous ones. hung out, listened to some bands. skeleton breath was cool. they were bass, drums, and violin. was going to buy the cd if chase didn't. sleeping kings of iona were interesting. i really liked the music, but wasn't too keen on the vocals. rufus was good. not a good festival act, but he is still cool. in between being at the fest we were in hoff's and ilana's room drinking and witnessing skillet fights, and putting our clothes back on.
went to dinner with matt, craig and mirah. then headed to a party at lisa h's place. then, onto rich's, followed by bj's. ran into sam, jenna, mike, casey and kana at bj's. that's the only place i ever see anyone. sunday was improv picnic which was full of food and nerf guns. and then back home. i got a sunburn this weekend as well. not to happy about that. got it just on my face. my nose hurts.
today i finally got the call from walnut street theatre that i have been waiting for. i got the job there. rocking. not much money, but it's a start. plus, i get benefits. which will be super nice. i need to find some sort of part time thing on the weekend so i can get some more money saved up before i move there. at least, that's the plan. now i need to work on finding a place to live. as well as all the stuff i will need in such a place. like furniture and all that. i am really excited about the job though. my boss chris, who is the TD and the one who i have been talking to on the phone, seems really freaking cool. seems very chill and laid back. which i like. lisa better be ready, evil is coming to her town. i will be moving down there probally around july 1st. i start work the 17th. so i want some time to get settled and all that.
