Life, in general, is good.
We’ve started tentatively looking at houses again - sadly, there’s not a huge amount on the market - well, nothing that’s really caught our eye since Greenwood Street. I really loved that house, but we just couldn’t agree on a price. We’ve committed, when nothing else is on, to looking at 2 houses each Saturday. This Saturday there is school Fete just up the road from our place, so we’ll be heading to that for a couple of hours. I’ve not been to a school fete in years - since I (and a group of my friends) was vomited on by a child while waiting for a ride.
My sister and niece are coming over for a movie night/sleep over tomorrow - we were originally going to have a scary movie evening, as is our tradition, but given circumstance, I’ve decided to not tempt fate and to just watch things that won’t scare the crap out of me.
Sunday is mother’s day. Neither of our mums are in the state, so there will be phone calls and a heap of relaxing. Monday is D-Day.
After Monday, we can actually start thinking about Bali - we’ve only got a couple of weeks until we go - so we need to start planning a little. All our accommodation is booked, we just need to work out what we need to take in the way of medication for me, etc (which again will be decided on Monday).
