Cleared
The doc says my elbow is looking good. I am cleared for my race on Saturday and then I am supposed to take some time off. From swimming at least. But he thinks it is going to heal nicely. At the end of my appointment yesterday he told me that I am his hero. :)
That was pretty cool! I like the idea of being a hero.
He has done a few tris, but it takes him almost 2 hours to do a sprint so he was quite impressed with me. And that I am doing it with a broken arm. He said he wanted to buy a road bike because he usually is riding a mountain bike. I told him I might be interested in selling Duke (he's just a tad too big. 54 instead of 52). He asked about it, and when I started telling him about the bike he said. "Oh, I'm sure that is out of my price range" I asked what his range was.... $200. I laughed. "yeah, it's a bit out of that range!"
So, anyways.... I am off to Portland today. Plane leaves at 1:30.
