Oh magpies do have the worst language, don't they? But I have to wonder, how did you know what it was saying? Surely it was a Korean magpie? :)

this is a good question you pose, and though I am slow to pick up different human languages, Magpie dialects are less complicated than one might think, additionally, no matter the continental preference, magpies seem to have the same gestures...the odd head twirk, the same snarky attitude. I knew what this guy was saying alright! But I forgave him on account of the fact that he was quiet beautiful, and I appreciate a little sass in my life!
