Clearly, where's the choice?
I knew it, the Vulcan is too proud. Sometimes testosterone just isn't the prizewinning hand, although I suppose rampant stoicism isn't just a masculine problem. I'm glad Uhura wanted another go, I would have been sad if she had been unfeeling. I like Spock's regret about the loss of Nyota, it shows the relationship meant something.
Finally, I love the hints and starts and stutters that marks the beginning of Jim and Spock's relationship changing from friendship into maybe -and at this stage it still has that maybe feeling, that still building up to something feeling- something more. The solicitousness on Jim's part, the feelings Spock has when ever Kirk is around. It feels organic. Like perhaps this wasn't what they intended for life or imagined for themselves, but at the same time its some what thrilling. That was my long winded way of saying this is getting juicier and I appreciate your storytelling.
