I read this earlier today and really enjoyed it :) It was a nice look into Palmer's character, and not as silly as most fics featuring him are.

As for the comm... bleh. I'm skipping this round because there's no creativity left in me, but I'm following the comm - so I was surprised to see that the stories were posted with the author names, since I hadn't seen a vote. Very strange. Getting a new mod obviously didn't help things. The way it's run is not the least bit impressive. At least they let you back in...

No comment on the comm. I talk to the mod, but didn't get a clear answer as to why there wasn't a mod post. I don't know what is going on. But, I got this story out of it, so I'm going to stick with being happy for now.

That was a beautiful use of both songfic and Jimmy. Love how you wove it all together and had parts with both Michelle and Abby in there too. Like that he was talking to her while he cleaned her...

Thank you. I thought the contrast between the two women would work nicely. And that he's picked up some of Ducky's habits.

As soon as I read that this was based on that song, I KNEW it was going to make me bawl, but I loved it. I loved Jimmy in this one. I wish that they'd show him as more of just a horndog on the show, although now that Michelle is gone, maybe they'll let him mature more. I loved the way that he was talking to the little girl, like Ducky does to the bodies he works on. He and Abby were good together, the way that she stayed a little longer than necessary. She always seems to keep an eye on everybody, usually without them realizing it.
