LAZY DAY....

Well I've decided I'm having a lazy day today before I go to work......

Yesterday the f-i-l moved into his new flat. The step-family brought his furniture down for him and Mr Teebs met them at the flat to help unload. All very well you might think but the s/b-i-l phoned the previous night and said they'd probably arrive early and would call the house when they arrived in town so that Mr T could direct them to the flat.....  8.00am the phone rang *sheesh* they were at the local garage and would 'hubbs' go and meet them!!!!   We new they were going to be early but that's just taking the p**s.   Anyway 'hubbs' took the f-i-l and went to meet them, I didn't go as I was working 9-1pm yesterday and couldn't swap shifts *luckily....lol*.  So when 'hubbs' picked me up from work I was shocked to hear that the s/f had helped take the furniture up to the flat had a nosey around and then left to go home about 10.00am.   Obviously they had done their job, dumped the f-i-l and his belonging's and basically rid themselves of a problem *typical*  I won't go into my feeling's towards this lot of selfish beings as every swear word I know would come into use......lol

After lunch I went down to the flat with 'hubbs' and unpacked everything and got the f-i-l sorted out.  I must say after we were finished and tidied up the flat looked really good and very cosy, we had to leave about tea-time to get something to eat and get 'G' up for work *he's on night's this week* also to see if the f-i-l would actually cook for himself. We did go down again in the early evening to make sure he was okay, definately no worrie's there. He was sat on the sofa all relaxed with a wee 'nip' and looking like he'd lived there for years..lol...he had cooked and a proper meal so we left him to it.  We will be going down this afternoon to see how his first night was, his phone isn't connected yet so I couldn't call him this morning to find out.

Well enough rambling, I'm off to make another coffee...lol
