End of summer
My last day of working with Lily & Sophie, for the summer, was Thursday. I must say I sure do love those girls, and I am sad to go. However, I am not sad to be making 11 hour days a thing of the past. Of course I am going to stay in contact with them, and I am trying to help find them someone new to watch the girls. Also this fall they are planning some weekend trips to the Cape and Jim & I are invited to join them. Fun!
Jim and I have decided that we need to learn something together, so we have taken up tennis. Our first tennis date is this weekend. This should be interesting. Also this weekend we are going to Topher's wedding. Which I believe is going to be a great time. Then on labor day we are having a little picnic. Fun times.
THEN on Tuesday I start teacher orientation. Oh my stars, as they say in the south, I think it just hit me when I was buying large amounts of glue that I am really a teacher. Oh boy!!
With all that summer is coming to an end. I am glad it is finished. Summer is not my favorite season it's just too hot, and the end of it brings us closer and closer to winter. Oh how I love the winter!!!!
