Random addictive music vids!
Hey, LJ friends, how's about a post out of the blue from the woman who never has anything to say? Nope, nothing earth-shattering, just a song I can't get out of my head, and two fascinating video renditions of it: Somebody That I Used to Know, by Gotye--as performed by Gotye (feat. Kimbra), and by Walk off the Earth. If you haven't seen these vids, and you don't mind a really catchy alt-pop song in your head, please do indulge! I think you'll be glad you did. ^^ Slight warning, though--the Gotye vid contains nudity that skirts around the male private zone pretty closely. I didn't find it offensive, but it is essentially gratuitous. *shrug* Judge for yourself, or give it a miss--the two versions actually sound very similar, so you won't be missing out on much musically if you only watch the WOTE version. Which is that vid you may have heard about, with five musicians playing a single guitar at the same time. So cool!
