Wow, am I really posting twice in one day? Incredible!! I got hit with a sudden brainstorm, though (inspired by the genius work of
wellingtongoose, found in
this post), and decided to try my hand at making a transcript of Dr. John Watson's resumé (or CV, as the Brits like to call it) as it appears in the episode The Blind Banker.

Other than the already discussed date issues I wonder why it doesn't list his miliary service. That would certainly count for experience, especially since his interest is in emergency medicine. Of course, for what amounted to a 2-second flash on screen they probably felt if his name showed up and it looked enough like a resume that was what counted.

I'm wondering if maybe it's customary in some way (in England? among doctors??) for job applicants to have separate listings for their civilian and military qualifications.... Canonically speaking, there must have been another page that Dr. Sawyer was looking at, if we're to reconcile this already difficult document with the scene in which it appears.

That's a pretty small plot "issue" compared to the fact that he fell asleep on the job on his first day and didn't get bounced out on his ass! Yeah, he's cute, but c'mon! But then my daughter is blond, too, and she's flirted her way out of more than one ticket! And we all know John Watson has some powerful mojo when it comes to women -- at least until Sherlock gets involved. :-D
