just a ramble

Wow my second entry already. I'm sure there will be many in the next few days as I get my Journal underway. I also wanted to mention that I am an artist. A recently evolved artist. Funny how many artists found their 'calling' later in life. Well, add me to the statistics. I have always loved drawing but never had the confidence to pick up a paint brush until just over a year ago. I saw someone making floorclothes on TV and thought...I can do that. So I set out to do just that. To my surprise they were very good and I actually sold some of them. Then I realized that I wasn't keen on people walking all over my hard work so I decided to give wall canvases a try. Well, the rest is history. In just a few short months I managed to sell 23 paintings on Ebay. Okay not just a few, more like 8 or 9 months...but still. It took a lot of nerve for me to even admit to myself that my work was good enough to sell but once they started selling, I finally realized that yes I did have talent. So now, I am working on someday being able to paint full time. It would be my dream.
