TV, shmee vee.
My mom's at it again. American Idol has taken over and I'm sure it will be replaying itself into the wee hours of the morning.
Her passion for TV has made me dislike it. She revolves her life around the TV Guide. And I'm not joking. Every Sunday is devoted to circling which shows she is going to tape. And then each morning before work, she sets the day's shows up. And if she doesn't have time, she calls me and makes me set them up for her.
I am sick of TV now. It's a waste of my life. I think from here on out, the only shows I will keep watching are The Ellen DeGeneres Show, because it makes me laugh real hard, and Survivor, because I am a loyal fan (but that doesn't even start till September).
There are so many other things to do that are so much more worthwhile. And I am going to take advantage of those. Starting now.
