(no subject)
I didn't do too much last night, except hang out at home, and then I headed down to my work for drinks with my co-workers. That turned into people offering to buy me drinks, and I only had to pay $2 for fries. Awesome!
I had time to kill before my bus came, and so I walked to Dante's to see what was up. The Buzzcocks had just played, and as I was walking by, I heard someone say, "Hey!" to me, and looked over, and saw my friend Dusty from my old work. Yay! We talked, and I met his really awesome/really sweet girlfriend he had told me about (and I guess he told her all about me, because she knew random nice things about me. Aw, Dusty!), and they asked me to go with them to The Tube (which I really like!). As soon as we walked in, I here another, "Hey!", and it was my friend Colin (also from my old work), and we all talked and it was a nice little reunion (even though I see Colin a lot more than Dusty). I met more of Dusty's friends, and we tried to talk over the noise. He couldn't drink because he was sick, and I was already a bit drunk, and then we realized we had missed the last bus. We all walked up Burnside and over to Plaid Pantry, so his gf could get more drinks, and some really old dude, was like,"You guys just saw that show? You know, the Buzzcocks? Amazing!" I can't describe it here, but the dude was a tool. I am glad I missed it, just because I guess a lot of random guys came in just to get drunk and didn't even know who the band was.
Anyway, they drove me home once we got to their place, and I didn't get to bed until 3:30ish! I also had to be up at 8:30, so I am a bit tired and feeling sick from last night.His gf asked to hang out again, and told me to come over anytime, so, we are hanging out again tonight/going to a show, and I can't wait!
