And now you've thrown Effy into the mix I'm even more confused - brilliant.
I love how you're mixing canon in with your own story, or adapting canon more like, and it gives me this lovely gleeful feeling that I'm being told something new whilst enjoying what I already know.
... I'm sure that made sense somewhere...
Anyway - gorgeous again. Am hanging on for more :)
Thanks Flis! CONFUSION REIGNS. I enjoy such feedback :)
It starts moving away from canon in the next couple of chapters, and goes completely off piste from chapter five onwards, because there's only so much re-telling I wanted to participate in. I think the set up of S3, and the hate between Katie and Naomi in canon, had such a massive bearing on the arc the series took, I think it was inevitable that their being best buds would send the group in a different direction. I hope it doesn't feel too alien, when things start changing.
Oh that gif is just.... ♥! DEAR NAOMI, PLEASE BE AIRLY DRUNK FOREVER, WHILE KATIE PRETENDS TO LAUGH AT YOU AND SECRETLY LAUGHS WITH YOU. THX.
That's the joy of fanfiction, really. We get to change the plots into stories we wanted, while keeping the characters we love intact. No doubt if S3 had actually been like this, I'd have been busily writing about what could have happened if Katie and Naomi had hated each other.
COOK! THERE IS SO MUCH MORE OF HIM. He becomes ~vital.
I like this story! It's new, fresh and original. The trio is brilliant and I love the fact that we saw their dynamic before Roundview and meeting the gang. I love their interaction, and seeing Naomi wanting to wait for Emily after school felt like role-reversal... but not fully *sigh* don't know if I'm making sense, whatever... Just beautiful... I'm eager to see where this story goes!!
Thank you for stopping by, I'm glad you're enjoying it! I think the story needed some time to set up the friendships before Roundview, else it could have been confusing.
You're right, it is not full role-reversal, I think Naomi would make a hopeless stalker...
Too cute. Too amusing. Too in love with this fic. Mostly because you've done such a damned awesome job writing it and then because I can't, for the life of me, figure out where you're going to take this.
I'm ready for the rest of the ride like yeahhhh. See you in Chapter 3!
