OH MY GOD WHY SO BORED.
OKAY - so for the past half hour, while I wait for my father-darling to come fetch me from university, I have been wasting time online in the law library. All my usual haunts have failed to entertain me. So I decide to see what sort of "scholarly" items I can find in my university library. Someone is either REALLY INTERESTED in fandom, or is actually studying fandom, because I swear, every book about fan fiction, about slash fan fiction, about sexuality and fandom has been taken out and is due back on the 20th. It made me lol.
Since that amused me to no end (seriously, see how bored I am?) I will go through supersearch and see what academic articles from journals have been posted on the issue. I kid you not - this has been my way of alleviating boredom for YEARS - I remember in high school looking through their databases to see if I could find aticles on Stargate (I was successful, in case you wondered).
One day, in my procrastination (when I am at home, mind, because at uni on their computers I am AWAY from my files...which is sad and means I am unable to function), I will actually put new, relevant userpics up here. Because I swear, I still have userpics from when I first began my LJ back in 2004. Oh, and I may actually figure out layouts and stuff for my Dreamwidth account - because its basically just SITTING there....
AND just for the record, I hate public networked computers because they GO SO SLOW.
