Okay. So let's begin the update with the good news? One of my CD's came today (FINALLY).
The people were even SMART enough to send me TWO of the front cover, since one is autographed (oh my god, my obsession has reached new heights.)
Unfortunately, there isn't much husky singing on this album, since it is all swing music (which Robbie made me like *shakes fist*)
ALSO YES I KNOW NONE OF YOU ARE AWESOME LIKE ME AND LOVE HIM TO INFINITY AND EMBARRASSMENT LAND BUT I DONT CARE.
In OTHER NEWS....exams are over! Horray! I haven't had a chance to relax though, as all I've done is sleep and work. I expect that is all I will do for the next few weeks - at least until my friend Julia comes to vist in December. This displeases me. However, it does mean lots of money, which means I might be able to save up for a car, or something. Or just go crazy any buy myself shit. Like I am doing right now. How many David Campbell CD's can there possibly be that I have to purchase. When I get through this obsession I am going to feel totally stupid.
Anyway, I will put my University stuff under the cut, in case you don't care (WHICH IM SURE YOU DO, because you are awesome)
SO:
My Archaeology exam was on Thursday, and I stupidly thought that I could easily study for it and do well. SO STUPID. Because there was much more than I remembered. So I spent a day and a half trying to listen to 13 lectures (HALF. HALF OF ALL OF THEM) that I missed. And reading the textbook. Oh my god.
The morning of my exam I felt so, so, so ill that I had to crumble along to the Uni pharmacy (AGAIN) and beg for their cheapest drugs to help me. I spent about a half hour of valuable study time in the bathroom feeling ill. And then, later, I felt so cold (it wasn't cold!) that I was forced to go buy a Uni jumper. Which, I mean, is an awesome UWA jumper, but I still had to fork out extra money, all the same.
During the exam I felt marginally better until I realised I didn't know anything. I know I say this all the time, but I mean it this time - I really didn't know anything. Especially not site names/dates or anything which is the most important part of the exam. So, in conclusion: fucked.
Then I had to hop on a bus and hoof it to work. Urgh. Then I came home, slept, then woke up this morning and yay, went to work again. Then I get to sleep tonight, and yay, go to work again tomorrow. Except tonight I am going to see Arj Barker with Libby - I think, if she would TELL ME WHERE IT IS.
My room also REALLY, REALLY needs to be cleaned, which of course, means that I will be rearranging everything. We also are getting foxtel on the 25th (YAY SCI FI CHANNEL AND DISCOVERY CHANNEL AND FOX 8 AND YAYAYAYA). Also, "So You Think You Can Dance" airs here on Sunday, which I have been waiting for since reading about it on the flist. Next I hope is Heroes. Because I don't have enough downloads to get that as well as everything else I download.
Um. Also, yay Bronski & Bernstein tonight, except I will have to tape it (not that that is a hardship or anything.
Also: I keep getting freaked out as I wander through the house in my pyjamas and see the strange man who I might have said hello to once just sitting there. Or brushing his teeth. Yeah. It is strange. But I think he leaves soon, which means: DOWNLOADING TIME!!!
