I really, really want someone to do a 
reel_sga fic based on the movie Corky Romano. I liked the movie! I thought it was cute! And not because it had the actor who played Colonel Emerson, captain of the Odyssey, in it. And he POUTED.
It would work, people.
The basic plot of the movie:
Corky Romano is a very good vet - he loves animals and is good with them. His father is on his deathbed, and is in trouble with the police and need's Corky's help. You see, the Romano's are basically like the mob (or they are the mob, or something. I missed the beginning), and his father is being investigated. His father needs Corky to go undercover in the FBI to gain access to the evidence locker and get all the evidence they have against him.
In the FBI, he meets a gorgeous blonde agent who is trying to prove herself and is very...strong, and another agent who is immediately dubious (and jealous) of Corky and is constantly trying to prove he is not who he claims to be.
This is basically a screw-ball movie - Corky keeps being pulled into cases based on his resumes "expertise" and through good luck, manages to pull them off, all while trying to get to the evidence locker.
ANYWAY. I won't spoil the ending in case people actually want to go see this movie or something.
But, I figure, Rodney would be Corky, in a less screwball comedy version of this. Like Corky, he would have been sent away as a kid to be educated, and now that his family is in trouble, he goes undercover in the FBI as an agent to get back the evidence. He isn't anything like an agent. Agent Sheppard, who is attractive, distant and quite dubious of Rodney plays the love interest. While he is busy trying to do his job and prove Rodney isn't who he says he is, they fall in love.
Then there is big drama when Rodney's identity comes out. Exclamation marks and all.
Someone could write this very well, except that someone is not me.
Also, yay, CSI:NY is back on TV!! \o/!!!!
