February's a Bitch, and so is my Ex

Last Weekend I went into Tampa to see Marlow and Juan's art show. It was a lot of fun. Even got to run into Seth, Jess, and Tara, which was nice, if a bit awkward. But it was just nice to hang out with my old friends. Talking with Antonette about everything in my life made things a lot better. My favorite quote: "About that whore, we gonna burn down her house, because I know a guy?"

The next day I went to MegaCon. Ran into Pablo as I was going on the shuttle and he was coming off. Hung out with Terri and Her boyfriend Matt the whole time, ran into Brenna (she was wearing a shirt that read "Many Bothans died bringing me this shirt". I of course was wearing my black death shirt, because every year random people will come up to me saying it is one of the coolest shirts they have ever seen, and it makes me feel better.

I'm starting to talk to Rochelle again. It's funny what you realize when someone fucks you over worse. She's doing great, sounds like a normal person now instead of her former withdrawn meak voice. She just broke up with the douche bag she went to UF for, and is doing better, and for each other, the fact that we can talk to each other and say we don't hate each other and we are happy for the times we had together also means a lot.

Tomorrow is my last AEPi Campout. It is going to be CO-OLD. I'm going to bring out the Zombie-proof jacket. I'm also going to be blitzed out of my mind. It's what I need.

In other news, I have been looking into jobs after college, primarily video game companies looking for Game Designers. I have actually found the perfect job, and in getting closer to it, I am going to start talking to my Game Design teacher, asking him for either a letter of recommendation and/or as a reference, getting a better understanding of GDD's as the semester progresses, and writing my own mini GDDs, that way when I apply, I not only have all the qualifications, but I have more of a reason for them to hire me.

I can't wait to get out of here. Later days.

-Mike
