What did I do, oh what did I do?
Besides being bored for the better part of the day, I ended up asking Dave to come over and help me to fix my computer, as it still shuts down suddenly without warning. So I picked him up, since he wanted to better understand what was wrong with my car, as that’s another thing he said he could possibly help me fix. He gets here and checks out my computer and it turns out that I need a new CPU fan as mine is just kaput at this point. So until I can get to Best Buy for one of the audits I have scheduled next week, Dave was kind enough to ghetto rig it so it stays cool and won’t shut down.
After fixing that problem, he went ahead and fixed my external drive case enclosure which turned out to have a loose piece on it which needs to be soldered back on, only we didn’t have the tools available to do that. So he switched out my dvd rom for the hdd until I can get a new case enclosure. Again that’s something that will have to wait until I can get to Best Buy to purchase. He was also kind enough to tweak my computer a bit so it doesn’t take so long loading and stuff, so yay for Dave! =)
Once he couldn’t find anymore things to fix, he decided to look through my music collection. And about 4 hours later he had his fill of music, lol. And so we played guess the card. The rules were you have three guesses, you only need to guess the number of the card, not the suit or color and if you guessed wrong, you lose an article of clothing. Needless to say, I ended up naked first... though he wasn’t doing too good himself at the game either, lol. But Dave was a good sport about it and let me keep a blanket wrapped around myself. Don’t worry nothing happened between us besides an innocent card game created by two very bored and sleep depraved people lol.
When we realized what time it was, which it was almost 9am and he came over here around 1am, he had to get back home so he wouldn’t miss a delivery from FedEx for his Father. So we got dressed and I drove him home just in time before his parents left for work. Then I headed back home and now I’m going to go crash for a few hours.
