Shimer a rinky dinky dink...
Went to sleep around five in the morning and got woken up by a phone call from my Mother around ten asking me to check her bank account online as she can’t from work because their IT guys blocked non-business related websites or something? So after helping my Mother out on the phone, I got dressed and headed out to the office to drop off my work.
My Aunt offered me more work but it wasn’t anything I could bring home to do, and I like working from home. It was a dictation job for that one guy, whose name I can never remember, who is an appraiser on the Antiques Road show. I would’ve stayed to do that but she only has one playback machine and one pedal and I’d have to tie up her computer to do it as that’s the only one setup for doing dictation in the office. I told her she should invest in another machine, etc.
So since I didn’t want to disturb the current work flow she had going, I opted to pass up the job but told her to give me a call when she gets swamped again, she said possibly next week there will be more work, so that’s cool. She then cut me a check for the two jobs I did earlier, (she still owes me for this recent one), thanked me for my help and I was on my merry way to my sisters to drop off her birthday gift and some other crap she needed to borrow for her trip.
I stuck around at my sister’s place for an hour or two just to relax a bit and eat some pizza before heading back home. When I got home I took a shower and I felt so refreshed that I went and asked my Father to teach me how to use the lawn mower and then I cut the lawn in the backyard, yay! Of course, I learned that you should shower AFTER mowing the lawn, as I got covered in grass clipping and all sweaty that I had to take another shower when I was done.
After mowing the lawn, taking another shower and grabbing something to eat for dinner. I find myself back in front of my computer doing nothing. I have no work this week which is absolutely wonderful, but now I have this energy building up inside me to just go out and have some fun, especially since I have a little extra cash hehe. Oh well, guess I’ll go and watch some television or something for awhile? *shrugs*
