**
1. Number of books I own..
-Probably 250, give or take.
2. Books that mean a lot to me..
-Dr. Zhivago - Boris Pasternak (favorite book ever)
-A Home At the End of the World - Michael Cunningham (second favorite book ever)
-Complete Poems of Sylvia Plath (for obvious reasons)
3. What were your favorite books as a child?
-I was quite a big fan of Nancy Drew books and The Babysitters Club.
4. What is on your list to read later?
-Oh Lord, I hav so many books to read that I bought at a used book sale a few months ago and haven't had time to read. Beyond that, the list is endless. I want to read the Lost book, Bad Twin, very badly. And Michael Cunningham's new (old) book.
5. Post four of your favorite book covers (on books you've read or haven't read).
-Umm... I don't really know. I don't judge books by their covers. The only one I can think of that I love is the cover to The Bell Jar. I also love the simplicity of JD Salinger's covers.
1. You're stuck inside Fahrenheit 451, which book do you want to be?
-I, too, never read this, michelle, though I do know the premise. I suppose I'd be a book of nursery rhymes. <--i don't really understand.
2. Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?
-I pretty much want to marry Hector from The Iliad. He's only the sexiest most noble and wonderful character ever. Too bad he died.
3. The last book you bought is?
-Like 35 books at the used book sale.
4. What are you currently reading?
-Dr. Zhivago (for the 25th time) and For Whom The Bell Tolls by the lovely Mr. Hemingway. (As if you couldn't tell, I like to read multiple books at a time. I'm usually reading at least 3 books at one time so this is slow for me).
5. Pass this on to three people.
-Whoever wants to do it. :)
