this time it strikes a most innocent girl, jessica martinez. i first became friends with jessica a few weeks before 9th grade, we met at barrymores. once school started i realised she was in band too, i guess i didn't notice at band camp. she was in my 2nd hour band class when i was in 9th grade. i remeber her huggin me with the upmost happiness at M.S.B.O.A. when the announced we got a 1. in 2nd hour she would come back to the percussion section almost every day to give me a hug before class started, or before Mr. Miles would jokinly tell her to get out of the back. jessica also rode my bus almost everyday. in the fall of 9th grade we would hang out at barrymores every other weekend or whenever, and when me and bliss kinda had a thing (waaaaaaaaaay back when) she kinda was the middle lady and helped me out with that. at the end of my 9th grade year she announced she wouldn't continue in the band program for the next year. i remember the last day of school last year, Ms. Carol gave jessica a big hug, it was big that she wasn't comming back because everyone loved her. this year without her in my class we grew apart, occasionally seeing eachother in the hallway and saying hi but thats about it, she didn't ride my bus anymore either. jessica martinez was a friend, she was a sweet, kind, nice, cute girl, who didn't deserve this. i hope she is in a better place, and my thoughts and prayers go to her family and friends, but most important.....Jessica.....
