Playing at Lowe's Theater
A night of one act plays
Directed by: Larry Lowe
This thanksgiving season, treat yourself to a nice turkey with some gravy and cranberry sauce, and then in the following days (after sleeping off all that food) gather up your friends and family and enjoy some live, quality Entertainment. The 2006 LEHS Drama club will be presenting three one act plays this friday and saturday, November 24th and 25th.
The first play is a 17th century set play by Cervantes. The Marvelous Playbill will be sure to bring laughter as this Spanish influenced play is performed before you, that is...if you can prove yourself a true Castillan and wittness the beauty of it.
Also being represented is the 19th century Russian piece, The Wedding Reception, by Chekov. All is going well when the happily married couple's families get together, that is...if you consider feuding father-in-laws, crooked caterers and a hyperventilating new bride "well".
And to wrap up the night, the cast and crew presents the contemporary piece by Stephen Gregg, This is a test. Alan is your regular, every day high-school student who crammed the night before a big test. As his nerves start to take him over, and paranoia sets in, Alan blames it all on his caffine intake but that doesn't account for parts of the test being in...Chinese?
So bring your friends and family to this once-in-a-lifetime event. Here are the vitals.
