We don't like to think of micro-organisms as living creatures
But they are as natural as our trash
Disease and death are hard parts of life
Let's take the micro seriously from here on out
We like to think we are above it all
We exercise our utmost control
To convince ourselves we are sophisticated
Upgraded versions of garden gnomes
But mother-nature is always in control
Reminding us we're no bigger than garden gnomes
Whether it's weather, bacteria, scarlet fever or code
The underlying nature of our existence is prone
We live our life responding to feedback
From people, places, weather and stations
We are only as alive as our mother allows
Restrictions are set once life abounds
