I agree here, all men in show are very romantically forward! I wonder if Branson is that type of perceptive and observant person who can easily read people. Allen said in the presspack that though Branson is headstrong and determined he can 'see the bigger picture'. If this is the case, maybe Sybil is unconciously in love with Branson but hasn't realized it yet. Maybe part s02 will be about developing this ship and all the implications it could bring if Sybil does reciprocate Branson's feelings. I think that right now, Sybil is focused in figuring out what can she do for the war effort and dealing with the shock of treating soldiers with horrendous wounds.
Allen also said that 'Sybil is full of hesitation' and that Branson will keep on questioning her. Jessica said that Sybil's reply was 'why now? I'm training as a nurse!' and 'maybe in the future but not now.' (sorry I don't remember it perfectly) I think this could be a very small clue that Sybil does secretly have feelings for Branson (even though they may be small) :)
