T-minus 30 days and counting....
...until Halloween!!! (insert scary music here)
My favorite time of the year. The weather is crisp and beautiful. Allthough long gone are the days when we would soap car windows, egg houses, and toilet paper trees, we still have an opportunity to dress up like an ass if we so choose.
Which brings us to the Halloween dance. A time to cut loose and go crazy(within reason). I don't recommend sniping people in the parking lot with a BB gun. The guy that did that last year caught a royal beating from Phil and JG.
I also don't recommend going as a robot. Sure you'll look cute and funny and people will laugh, but in reality you'll be trapped inside a lonely shell of cardboard with nothing but your thoughts, sweat, and the realization of what a pathetic life you've led thus far. You'll watch from afar while people interact face to face and share good times and intimate moments. You'll begin to feel like a real robot--incapable of love or true connection with another human being. But then before the night is through, you'll bust out a sweet robot dance and rock everyone's face off and win over their hearts. It's a cruel paradox.
Well, obviously I'm not doing anything at work. I should get going. Just wanted to remind everyone that Halloween is coming and hope you're planning your costumes! Remember that homemade is the best way to go.
