this past weekend was realllly good. i went up to jamie's to celebrate her birthday and valentines day all rolled into one. We went to this Chucky Cheese'ish place where i played lazer tag, skee-ball, and ran through a funworld type playground. Jamie got me Kill Bill Vol. 2 and Say Anything dvd's, thrice and napoleon dynamite stickers, chocolate, and a picture/scrapbook that documented our last year and 4 months. i love her to death.
the last week has brought many purchasings and happenings:
-jammed with sean owen, played some weird samba music, but fun nonetheless.
-bought donnie darko directors cut. much better than the first version. more sci-fi time travel stuff.
-bought Cave In's Antenna cd because i heard good things. this cd is not a good thing.
-bought Postal Service on vinyl. comes with b-sides including The Shins covering one of their songs. i listened to the whole album sped up at 45 which is pretty awesome.
-Lagwagon live cd is also amazing.
-Recorded first demo with mark and corey last night on pro tools. sounds really fucking awesome. setting up a myspace account for it this weekend i believe.
