Whichever way it blows

I will try and recreate what it was yesterday.

Too soon, to late to tell - I'll never know how
you led me gently to open up
my entire universe
and the deepest fears.
You'll probably never know how
you did it
how you coaxed out
the saddest song in the universe and
the quietest moan of them all
how you drew from me, breath by painful breath
the strangest words I've ever tripped across
my tongue.
And for that moment you swung open
the dark door marked with scars
heavy-laden with tears
swung open and outpouring all
the lips
hips
velvet fingertips -
thighs and sighs,
and as teeth touched air
I let my words go as gentle as sin
as quiet as sin
and you gathered them, in
to your sunken mind.

I hope they'll stay there.
