MUSIK APPRECIATION
I'm not the biggest fan of piano music - not for any real reason, but just because I guess I always found it a little too sedentary for my high octane, fast-paced living( har har). Perhaps it's just the fact that I like hearing human voices sing as opposed to musical instruments, so for that reason piano music has always sort of been a " oh that's interesting but I probably won't listen to it in my own free time unless I'm studying" kind of thing.
Tonight while I was on 8tracks.com I stumbled upon a "reading" playlist, and on it was this song. I'm not sure what it was about it, but I stopped in the middle of my statistics textbook and looked up at the screen. Then I sat back and played it again, and just listened to it. I was possibly smiling to myself; I will never know.
I'm trying to think fo why I like it so much but the only reason I can think of is that riff that goes on and on, it seems so....carefree.
