I woke up this morning and it was (and still is) about 90 degrees in my house. Blehk.
Yesterday I learned to play Brick on the guitar, partially because I can't really access the piano anymore. It sounds beautiful though.
My mom's been wanting to go canoeing everyday this summer, but we haven't yet. Seeing as the hurricanes are about to barge in uninvited, she wanted to get a few hours of canoeing in this afternoon. It will be nice to be in the sun before it goes away for a while. I wish I had gone to the beach, but it was raining most of the time there.
I got a few lightbulbs over my head last night so I put them to work. I'm going to miss her a hell of a lot, but I'm so happy for her at the same time.
I better find some skanky old chucks to wear in the river.
