Happy Mondayne!

So I've finished another hectic week and I'm staring down the barrel of yet another one. I feel like I haven't had just a normal week filled with a normal amount of things to do since some time in October. This whole job search thing is really starting to be a bother, it takes up most of my time now and I've hardly been able to do any work for my classes. But I only have 4 weeks left of the semester and my undergraduate career. Which gives me 4 weeks to find a job, catch up on all my school work, write all those fun end-of-the-semester papers (3 ten pagers), bust my ass in my computers in management class to raise my D to a somewhat respectable grade, keep my normal routine at White Mtn. and Samaritans, while at the same time cherishing my final month of what were supposed to be "the best four years of my life". That was a lot of bitching, phew.

So I finally let my parents in on my little plan to find a job at one of those wilderness therapy thingies. As expected, it was not received very well.
"Where would you live?"
"How would you pay to fly out to these places?"
"I thought you needed to work in research?"
"I thought you didn't want to work with kids?"
"How are you going to pay off your student loans."
"Have you thought this through?"
"That doesn't sound like it pays very well."
But in the end, it's still my decision, even if they did burst my bubble a little. Damn them for being so rational. I'm still looking for research jobs.

This weekend was pretty low key...or lowER key. I had a huge amount of things to do as far as the job search. Putting resumes and cover letters together, mailing out resumes and cover letters, buying a new suit for my job interview this week, and the regular homework. So I decided to spend the weekend at home and get it all done, which was a nice preview of what life is going to be like again in a month or so, it's going to be an adjustment...or readjustment.

That's pretty much it. Nothing too exciting happened this week. So I leave you with a survey question--let's have some input here people. If you stumbled across some rather incriminating pictures of a person who was a pretty big asshole to you in the past, what would you do with them?

...geez, this was not a fun journal entry, my apologies
