The Rules
1. Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your current favorite song, or your favorite kind of sandwich, maybe your favorite game. Any remark, meaningless or not.
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in your own post.
5. When others respond with a desultory comment, you will ask them five questions.

1) For real, you live in the Star Wars universe. They've found that you are Force sensitive. Everything about our lives is roughly the same, you are approached by a Jedi and a Sith and must choose: Light side or Dark side?
- You’d think this would be an obvious choice for me! But, an important part here is that the Jedi forbid you to be in love or have any family attachments. I couldn’t accept that. They’d also probably try and stop me from teaching it to you, which I would totally do. At the same time, I don’t think I could use those powers for personal gain without feeling like a terrible person. So, I guess the choice would be up to them; let me live my life as I see fit and I’d make a nice Jedi, but try to tell me what to do and face the full power of the Dark Side!!!

2) You are allowed to change one thing about yourself, physical, mental, whatever. Nothing meta-human, but what do you change?
- I would definitely do something about my memory and awareness. The reasons for which you certainly know!

3) Quantum Leap. Sam jumps into your body to make right something that went wrong. No negative repercussions. What is it?
- I think Sam would go back to my early twenties and try to get me and my dad to actually talk about the things that bothered us. I still can’t help but feel that the way we always approached our relationship made it hard to come out and say how we felt. It means we never fought, true, but it also means we didn’t ever really connect, either, and now it’s too late for that.

4) You are given one day, with all the money you could ever want to spend doing whatever. Figure that travel is immediate, you are wherever you want to be instantly, and the day begins there. However, it is only one day. How do you spend it?
- Well, the first thing that comes to mind is a one-day-whirlwind tour of all the world’s greatest sights. However, places like the Pyramids and Paris and Rome and anywhere else I want to see; I would want to spend days exploring and enjoying. Jumping from place to place would feel like a waste. So, instead, I would zap us both to Key West and spend a whole day living in filthy disgustingly rich luxury and enjoying the tropics. That way, we get an awesome memory to keep for years to come as opposed to snapshots that feel like they didn’t happen. 

5) You can own one fantasy weapon, from any Sci Fi or Fantasy movie/book/comic/TV show, whatever. What is it?
- Any fantasy weapon? *evil grin* The Death Star! Can you imagine owning that thing? We could cruise the cosmos! Bring the galaxy to its knees! Heh, ok, maybe not. I can’t even conceive of how much it would cost to gas that thing up. At $3.00 a gallon, we’d be in to poor house real quick and end up having to sell it to Richard Branson.
So, on the cheaper side, I would say a lightsaber. It really is the ultimate comfort weapon. If you have that little cylinder on your belt, you know you are safe from everything that might want to hurt you. Just need to learn how to use it properly so as to avoid embarrassing dismemberment.
