The post-semester recap...
After all the fluff of the last few posts... here's some substance...
It was a long semester... then again, I could have avoided some of the problems... «shrug» 8 classes... 14 units... 2 heavy general ed classes...
By and large they went well... I only failed the class that I enrolled into 2 weeks late... It took me half the semester to give up on it... heh
In the Opera Workshop there at CSUN we put on L'Elisir d'Amore (Elixer of Love) by G. Donizetti. That was a blast... despite all the smoke from the Simi fire...
My lessons went well as well... and the Northridge Singers' concert was a hit, despite internally percieved flaws... all in all, it has been a lot of fun.
Mind you, I've been doing all this and working 33 hrs/week and commuting an hour each way, every day, into one or both of the valleys...
Now that the semester is over, I have 6 weeks to recoop... then it starts all over again... with 8 classes and 14 units. lol
