Virus or Event?: Virus Duration: 3-4 days Description: You wake up one morning and you look at the community and... suddenly, there are weird symbols instead of a language you understand. It's garbled nonsense, and some of the posts you can't even begin to read. Nothing makes sense. Guess what? The community's convenient and magical translation abilities have suddenly crapped out on you, and everyone is suddenly typing and speaking in their natural languages. I hope you know some good sign language, guys. Anything else: So that you're not frantically trying to translate/make up a language/whatever, just stick the language the character is speaking in the subject line! For example, if Belarus is making a post or comment, I'll put [Belarusian] in the subject!
For bonus points, characters can try using things like Google Translate, but it will come out exactly as an Internet translation program usually does - as a horrible, mangled, near-unintelligible attempt at that language. Pretty much, you're either miming or you're speaking Engrish for this ride. ♥
