(no subject)
I am totally in denial that it is the holidays. I still haven't gone shopping. If the weather is going to be terrible, I won't go shopping tomorrow. ARGH! I hate the holidays, I have a depressed, bad taste in my mouth, and I've not decorated my place at all...I cringe at the Christmas music, and just am trying not to acknowledge anything at all about it, really.
Tomorrow, if the weather isn't terrible, a girl from Alan's barn is going to come meet Sonic and see what she thinks of him as a fun, tool around kind of horse. He is not getting the attention he needs from me - I was foolish enough to think I could handle two horses at two separate barns, but I can't. I can't move Sonic to Centurion, because, let's face it, that would put my board bill at $1600 before shoes, training, whatever. Plus, Sonic needs to be outside 24/7. And I won't move Slim to Kitten's...no way. I LOVE Centurion, I love being based out of Matt's barn with him, I love Stef and the guys and the facility is to die for.
Actually, a plug, Centurion Farm...since I am the webmaster. ;) Here is Matt, too, while we're at it...Matthew Flynn Eventing, since I am also his webmaster. :)
I also started a riding journal to help me keep track of what Slim and I are doing...slowly trying to back fill from this past week, since our last horse show at least. saratogaslim
Otherwise...things just are. Been having fun going out after riding with Stef and Matt, and look forward to moving closer to the barn so it's not such a long drive home after we hang out. It's nice to be around other single, horsey people who are as horse-poor as I am. We have fun. We're trying to veto going out to eat so much, and maybe start cooking together at some point. That would be good.
