I've been so absent, but I had nothing but horrible stuff to talk about, so I just...didn't. It depressed me too much to even think about it, let alone figure out what to write.
This little horse, people don't realize, he saves me every day. It sounds melodramatic, but I truly think without him I would have sunk so low that I don't know what would have happened. He gives me lofty goals to work towards (what adult amateur lucks into a horse like this?!), he is my best friend, and he truly loves me and actually shows it. I've been riding horses since I wa 3 years old and got my first pony, but Slim, he is so truly special, I would have found the money even if he was a six figure horse. I know when it's time for us to head out on cross-country in Aiken in March, we will rock it because we believe in each other and trust each other.
I'm sure WarPaint was just as special to you! What kind of horse was she? How did you meet her?
How have you been feeling lately, on another note? Hope you are doing okay!!
I am going to try to turn this into a bit of a riding journal, I think...I need to write down what I do every night, to keep track, but hate to write by pen, so....might as well use this!
