Thanks, everyone, for all your kind words about Eagle. It's been 48 hours now, and I sure do miss him still. He is doing pretty well with Rieko, a little whiney and stressed, but not TOO terrible. He loves having her dogs around, I think.
Getting lots of emails and stuff from GW people...it is nice that they are all taking the time to send their condolences about it. Not only do they support you when you adopt your hound, they are very kind and supportive when the worst happens, too.
Just keeping busy with work and other stuff. I plenty 12 of my lilly bulbs in the backyard, and put the borders on my horse quilt I've been working on. Just have to square it up and then I can baste it tomorrow. Made some hummus for lunch tomorrow that came out pretty well. Needs less cumin and less paprika, but otherwise pretty good.
So yeah...just trying not to think about my boy. This is the best for him, I know. I hope that it continues to get a little easier every day. I would love to have taken him for a walk today, though, on such a beautiful day. :(
