I was told to update my LJ, so...I'm updating. :)
Move went very smoothly, and we LOVE the new house. It's so nice to be in a house with that much room. It looks kind of empty, since we each had a 1-bedroom rather than a houseful of furniture. Plus the bed and Dave's nice couch and chair are still at his old place, since we needed to leave enough furniture in there for the open house last weekend.
So life's pretty good, if crazy. Work is...going. Busy, maddening, but hey. I've started volunteering for Greyhound Welfare, which I am loving. Doing stuff like transporting the dogs, running some smaller volunteer programs, that sort of thing. It's a lot of fun and it's nice to vicariously play with the dogs until we adopt our own this spring.
Also learning to quilt...I've worked on several baby quilts now, and they're coming out nicely. Yay. :)
