Possibly self-evident question
I imagine that most of us have come up against the locked/not-locked debate when it comes to our characters and posts. That is to say, it's unlikely the captain of the Enterprise is going to spill about every mission or trauma or whatever publicly, but at the same time, in the interests of interaction, I'm guessing we all want to find a way to let some of this stuff come out.
I'm new here, so I was wondering: how do you handle that? Do you keep things locked, and let CR in other situations (community, RLs, viruses) do the rest? Do you fail-lock? Do you bend things a little bit in order to put more out there? What's the balance between interaction and going OOC, for you?
