Tomorrow Maraich is having Matthias' party and Tetris match tomorrow.
This is just to help people get set up.
Here is a game called Blockles, which is essentially Tetris. You can have up to 7 players in a game and you don't need to register to play (although it doesn't hurt to and it's pretty easy).
You turn your pieces around you press up. To move them down faster you press down. Side arrows go side to side. Space has you piece go to the bottom immediately.
(Some games also have items that do different things. You press 1 on the keyboard to put the item on yourself, and the other numbers to put them on other players.)
I'll make a chatroom tomorrow called DDD Tetris. The chatroom will be to help everyone join the same matches. People can also decide how their matches go ICly, as many characters have probably never seen a video game system before.
Even if you aren't joining the party you can go ahead and join the games.
For people who don't have AIM I'll also try to consistently update the invite URL on the post, but as you can imagine it's a little harder to do that quickly. I'll do what I can.
The IC prizes are gift baskets - things like wine&cheese, chocolates, and basic goodies. So nothing that will change their lives but they might leave a bit happier.
Warning: Game is highly addictive. I'm not the only one who has still been playing it since testing it out.
Any questions? I plan on keeping the party fairly chaotic and non-linear. Basically post and reply to whoever you want to post and reply to.
