[Butterfly looks around warily. She has no idea why there's a very small cannon on the floor, but she isn't really too inclined to touch it. She's pretty sure she heard a noise earlier that was... less than reassuring.
[Hector is a bit more concern about the fact that there are portraits of people with no eyes hanging the wall. He eyes them suspiciously] What is this place?
[Rei gives a small scoff, glancing around. It's sad how used to all this he is.]
If I had to guess? Someone's idea of a joke. Though the fact that there might actually be something significant here might still be a possibility. Who knows? Not like we can't take care of it if there is something serious.
Theme park? [What the heck is that? Hector shakes his head some as he looks over to Butterfly, regarding the weapon in her hand.]
I've used a cannon before, but never something so small. Besides, I'd rather use the weapon I have with me. [He indicates to the sword at his side, before moving to the doorway that leads to the hall, hearing the sound of piano music being played.]
And if this is indeed a joke, tis one done in bad taste...
I know what it is, but I prefer my weapons. Never been a fan of guns in the first place.
[He indicates the twin shortswords he pulls out from behind his jacket, twirling them once before putting them back.]
You'd be surprised what someone will do "in bad taste", but. Oh well. We're here now, no point in dwelling on it. We got more important things to deal with - like how we're getting out.
[Hector mutters something and a fairy like creature appears, which he sends down the hall, to scout out the place, before going over to the patio door.]
Tis strange indeed. Considering the feel of this place, it may be wise not to bother it.
[Hector goes over to the work bench and finds a rusty shovel leaning against it. He picks it up, tests its weight, and then swings it at one of the glass walls. It cracks easily enough, but when he goes to swing at it again, so that he may break through, the cracks heal themselves. He lowers the shovel.]
I suppose so. Are we going to need that... thing, do you think? Or can we just go through without it? [She means the shotgun.] Unless you two are carrying around swords you can't use for some reason, I don't think any of us are helpless.

[Butterfly sighs and picks up the shotgun, examining it warily.] Do either of you know how to use this? I'm not sure I want to handle it too much.

I've never even used a Barking Dog - pardon me, a cannon. I think it might be best if we just... leave it be.
[With Hector checking out the hallway, she goes to the other door, looking out into the patio.]
There's all glass walls through here... I suppose we could break it. [Butterfly is not familiar with greenhouses or how thick their glass usually is.]
Reply
We could, but will it work.

[Rei crosses his arms with a tight-lipped smirk.]
Though I suppose there's no harm in trying it out at least once. I just wouldn't be surprised if trying yielded nothing.

Well, you could try offering suggestions.
[She steps into the greenhouse anyway, looking for something heavy to smash the glass with.]
It's strange... all the plants in here are dead, except for one rosebush...

Appears you were right, Rei.

[He lets out a sigh, keeping one sword in a back-handed grip.]
Whoever - or more likely whatever - brought us here wants us to at the very least make our way through the house.

I am far from helpless, and, unfortunately, I am also used to such places.

So, shall we keep moving, then?
