HALLOWEEN PARTY - Forward Dated to the 31st
[Welcome to Tranquility, guys and gals! Specifically, welcome to Tranquility's central park, a spacious, green area surrounded by trees that's home to the statue of Astral Man, one of Tranquility's finest heroes.
For tonight, though, the park has been equipped to handle a large amount of people in a party setting; strings of orange and white lights are laced between trees and over the main expanse of the park; a sound system that's been specially rigged for the park is blasting a wide variety of music (if it's got a good beat, it's on the playlist); a woman wearing a pink bunny costume is manning a buffet with an overzealous amount of food available (most of it fried or greased or both); near that is a long table with drinks (both alcoholic and non-); finally, one part of the park where the music is loudest has fold-out flooring laid out so that people don't just start moshing everywhere. (Even though the alcohol is probably going to lead to that.)
So, spread out, find your friends, make some new ones - and try to keep a level head. You don't want to end up in the next Gossip Girl post, do you?
Also, be on the lookout for your host, who's donned a casual suit and an afro. The joke's probably lost on most.]
((OOC: If you need a reason for your character to do anything you're welcome to just say Emo gave them a drink/told them to go somewhere/told them to put this costume on/etc. :) He's always there to be a scapegoat. The party's officially open from today (30th) till the end of tomorrow (31st) for your convenience. Also apparently I'm the queen of TL;DR.))
