At work: we're building Medea. The set consists entirely of platforms. In the process of crafting one such, we found that some of our wood was horribly warped. We don't have the budget to purchase new, so we had to get said warped wood to deny its nature and be straight.
This took much bracing, drilling into the table, and me acting as a human paperweight for the better part of three hours. I love my job.
Then I went to class covered in sawdust (this seems to be a trend of late). At least it smells nice.
As I walked into Chaucer, one of the girls in my Grad Lit class goes "So, did you start the essay for Dr. Larson's class yet?"
This essay is due Tuesday. I didn't have the heart to tell her that I'm on draft four with almost a full page of works cited. Why is it that I can work three jobs and still be more up on my schoolwork than half the class? I won't knock it, but.... seriously... what are you people doing with your time?
