Inaugural Dirt Trails & Pony Tails 5K Trail run

I've taken up trail running as an off season activity. I've been running with Trailhead Running, aka Susan Farago & Richelle Criswell, on Thursday nights. They have created a new series of 5K women's only trail runs, and the first was the Dirt Trails & Pony Tails 5K, held on the property of the Austin Ridge Bible Church at Bee Caves & Cuernavaca. I

Somehow I missed this race report until justnow. Glad I found it! Sounds like a lot of fun. When I first saw the last picture, I thought that was Janet with you.

And that picture of you flying is possibly the most fantastic thing I've seen this week. You should make that your facebook profile picture or something.

You didn't see it because I just posted it yesterday! But it was so long ago that I just quietly set the date back and didn't make a grand announcement about it. You like that picture? I kinda do too :-)

Is that a training group on thursdays? I have been looking for something running related to do on thursday nights and would love to do some trail running.

Yes! We meet on Thursdays! http://www.trailheadrunning.com/ Only downside is we meet south and run the Barton Creek Greenbelt, so it's kind of a slog in rush hour traffic. But so worth it. All stress just melts away. And now we're night running with lights! Come and join us Becky!!
