NEVER SAY NEVER
You all know that expression, and I've found for me it must be true.
I truly NEVER thought I'd be posting a request asking for recommendations on good, long Harry Potter fics where the pairings were het and there wasn't too much sex involved, but that's exactly what I'm doing.
Obviously, this is not for me. Some of you may recall my being "found" by my biological family a few years ago. That is going well, and in the process, I managed to get both my biological mom and sister hooked on Harry Potter. Whilst my sister is as bad as I am in terms of wanting to read slash, and the naughtier the better, we are now trying to find stuff for our mom to read.
She has a particular fondness for Severus Snape, so any not-too-dark stories involving him would be great. She's read a few Severus/Hermione fics she really liked, so that would be a good pairing and some sex is fine ... just nothing too kinky as my biological mom is nearly 70. Other het pairings would be okay as well, as would fics that are strictly Gen.
I'm begging for suitable recs because honestly, that's just not the sort of thing I read myself, so I have no idea where to start looking.
