TECHNICAL QUESTION
I have a technical question about journal styles if anyone out there can help me. Please overlook my poorly explained description of my problem as I lack the vocabulary to put this into proper computer-speak.
As I know many of you do, I also have an Insane Journal account. I chose "The Late Show" design from the "Style Contest" group as my background for my pages there, but I'm very frustrated that it doesn't have the bar across the top like I have here that shows my user name in the upper left corner, along with choices to click for going to the Home page, to post an entry or to go to my friends page. There is some other stuff on that bar as well, of course, but those are the features I miss.
The way that page is now, if I want to post an entry, I have to actually click on my "user info" link to go to that page and choose to post from the sidebar there. It's quite annoying.
Does anyone know how to put that bar back at the top of the page on Insane Journal? I'm sure it's just some little thing I inadvertently turned off when I was customizing the style, but I've looked and looked and can't figure out what I've done wrong.
