It's dead, Jim.

Well, the limiter on my sarcasm chip, anyway.  Any time anyone asks me how I'm doing, I respond with something to the effect of "serving another day in glorious worker's paradise of people's Commonwealth of Pennsylvania" in the most forced-cheerful voice I can.  'Cause after all, in glorious People's Commonwealth, job works you!

Yeah, morale at work is in the toilet for a various assortment of reasons that I won't bore you with here.  Suffice it to say, my motivation isn't exactly peak and I can't even say I just need to get through this particular point in time, because when I get through it my position may not have any funding source behind it.  And I don't exactly look forward to going on the dole for however long it takes the state government to get their collective heads out of their collective asses and fix the damn fund.

Ah, fuck it.  If I'd been thinking straight I'd have just taken some extra time off this week since the impending holiday break doesn't exactly fuel me with the desire to get anything done.  I've got more that needs to be done at home and no time to do it in.  And I'll probably just end up killing more brain cells with TV anyway...
